Billing & Payments
Last updated October 25, 2026.
This page explains how billing works at Osmond Technologies, LLC, in plain English: when you're billed, how to pay, what the fees are, and what happens if a payment is late. The official terms are in our Terms of Service and your hosting agreement.
1. When You're Billed
- Hosting and Managed Services are billed once a year, in advance. We send your invoice ahead of your renewal date, and it's due on your renewal date.
- Domain names are billed on the same invoice as your hosting, so you get one bill. If your domain renews on a different date, its next renewal is included in advance, labeled with its dates. See Domain Names.
- Paid plugin and theme licenses we buy for your website are on the same invoice, at the price we pay plus a $20 handling fee per license, per year. See our Third-Party Software & Plugins Policy.
- Hourly work, projects, and computer support are billed separately and are due when you receive the invoice, unless a written quote says otherwise.
2. How to Pay
Invoices are sent by email from PayPal. Use the Pay link in the invoice to pay by credit card, debit card, or PayPal. You don't need a PayPal account to pay by card. This is the fastest way to pay, and it's the way we prefer.
Checks are accepted, but please use the Pay link if you can. If you need to pay by check:
- make it payable to Osmond Technologies, LLC
- write your invoice number on it
- mail it to 1700 N. Oxford Ave., Suite 208, Eau Claire, WI 54703
- mail it early: your payment counts as received when the check arrives, not when it's mailed, and it must arrive by your due date
Please pay the invoice total, including the processing fee. The fee covers processing and handling for every payment method, including checks.
3. The Payment Processing Fee
Processing payments costs us money. Instead of hiding that cost in our prices, we show it as its own line on your invoice, so you can see exactly what it is. It applies to every invoice, however you pay.
For example, a $600 yearly invoice has a processing fee of about $19, for a total of about $619. The fee covers what the payment processor charges, so we receive our listed price.
4. Reminders
If an invoice hasn't been paid as its due date gets close, we'll send a friendly reminder. If it becomes past due, we'll remind you again before anything else happens.
5. If a Payment Is Late
If an invoice isn't paid by its due date, we may suspend your hosting, website, and related services. To restore service, the full past-due balance must be paid, plus a $50 reconnection fee per account. Service is restored within two business days of payment.
If your domain expires while your account is unpaid, any fee the registrar charges to recover it is added at our cost.
6. Renewals and Canceling
Hosting and Managed Services renew automatically each year. To cancel, send written notice to support at osmondtech dot com at least thirty (30) days before your renewal date.
Yearly payments are non-refundable. If you cancel partway through the year, there's no prorated refund for the remaining months.
Prices may change at renewal. If yours is changing, we'll tell you before your renewal invoice is due.
7. Questions About a Bill
Email billing at osmondtech dot com or call or text 608-446-1311. If something on an invoice looks wrong, tell us before the due date and we'll sort it out.
