How remote support works
No waiting for an appointment and no hauling your computer anywhere. We connect securely and fix it while you watch.
Step 1: Call or text us
Tell us what's going on at 608-446-1311. We'll let you know if it can be fixed remotely—most problems can.
Step 2: Install a small, secure program
We send you a link to Splashtop, the secure remote support tool we use. It takes a minute or two, and we'll walk you through it.
Step 3: We fix it while you watch
We see your screen and take care of the problem. Watch along, ask questions, or go grab a coffee.
Remote support needs a working internet connection. If your computer won't turn on or your internet is down, we'll talk it through by phone or come to you.
Your computer, your call
Letting someone onto your computer takes trust. Here's how we earn it.
- We only connect when you've asked us for help.
- Every session is encrypted.
- When you're at the computer, you can see everything we do.
- One-time customers are removed from our system when the job is done, and you can uninstall the program anytime.
- Regular clients can choose to stay connected, so we can help faster—even when you're away from your desk.
- We don't look through your files, email, or photos beyond what the fix requires.
A word about scams: we will never call, text, or pop up a message out of the blue asking to get on your computer.
If someone claiming to be from Microsoft, Apple, your bank—or even us—does that, hang up and call us directly at 608-446-1311.
Pricing
Simple hourly rates. Same price for homes and businesses. No surprises.
Remote Support
$95 per hour
Best for slow computers, pop-ups and viruses, software and updates, email, printers, Microsoft 365, and "how do I…" questions.
- 30-minute minimum
- Then billed in 15-minute increments
- Often fixed the same day
On-Site Support
$150 per hour
For anything that needs hands: new computer setups, networks and Wi-Fi equipment, hardware problems, and office moves.
- 1-hour minimum
- Then billed in 15-minute increments
- Eau Claire area; travel farther out may add a travel charge, which we'll agree on before we come
- Card and PayPal processing fees are shown as their own line on your invoice—never buried in the price.
- Emergency or after-hours work may incur additional charges. We'll always tell you first.
